Caracas Postal Ciudad Evolutiva

La POSTAL fue espontaneamente escogida el 7 de octubre del 2009 como banner del popular blog de cultura urbana SkyscraperCity vean los mas de 800 votos y sus resultados y los calientes comentários en un tan solo dia!

Esta Postal distribuida en Caracas a partir de agosto 2010 busca dar a conocer el proyecto y darle a Caracas una nueva Postal de una de sus principales realidades. Disponible gratuitamente en lugares de cultura del Centro historico de Petare, en Tecniciencia Sambil y Millenium, en discotiendas Recorland, y en CC Transnocho, la libreria El buzcon y otros lugares! Un sueño; realizar este enorme fresco urbano!

Montaje original de César Silva Urdaneta (Ve) y Hugo Chauwin (Fr) sobre una fotografía de George Brugmans, director de la Bienal internacional de Arquitectura de Rotterdam (IARBR) en la ocasión de su 3ra édicion cuyo titulo fue POWER – Producing the contemporary city.

    is not really slums, is more like informal housing in the hillsides..this is common in Latin American, but its different to slums in the fact that this settlements receive more services than slums do.

    I give this banner a 5/5 because im proud of my roots, I was born in ccs, but I hate to see what has became the city. It�s a cruel picture of a cruelest social reality. Caracas is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with an awesome natural scenario and an excelent weather but the politics and the burocracy has made of this city a place of big contrast and hard to live in…

    es nuestra realidad expuesta de una manera creativa, lo que debería hacernos pensar en que hay personas que la asumen y esa es la actitud que hay que tomar si queremos participar para la mejora de la situación, o para los que lo ven distinto: la solución del problema.
